Welcome Aviara Neighbors!  I’m a proud contributor to this new local publication covering our beautiful neighborhoods and amazing residents.  Each issue profiles an Aviara family while also providing local sports scores and stories, feature articles on residents and happenings around Aviara, and information on local professionals who serve the broader Aviara community.

I’m one of those professionals.  As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, I specialize in financial planning and investment strategies for individuals, families, professionals, business owners, and company executives.  I’ve been in the business for over 16 years as a fee-based independent investment advisor and a fiduciary, meaning I put client interests above my own and eliminate conflicts of interest when possible.  My first career was in satellite communications, spanning DIRECTV, XM Satellite Radio, Hughes Electronics, and Ball Aerospace.

My firm, WWM Financial, is a midsize, locally owned & operated boutique wealth management company headquartered right here in Carlsbad, across the street from Palomar Airport.  What sets us apart from many is our values and how we work with clients – e.g., we are honest and treat clients with respect, we’re proponents of client education and planning, we have many investment strategies available, some customized, we’re fiduciaries, and we give back to the community.
